Health Promotion Presentations Descriptions
- De-Stress to Avoid Distress: Covers the functions of stress, identification of personal stressors and vulnerabilities, and techniques for reducing and/or managing stress.
- Nutrition Nuts and Bolts: Teaches students the principles of diet planning, macronutrients, and how to make overall healthier choices.
- Healthy Adulting 101: Covers a number of evidence-based, best practices around health on the topics of sleep, movement, nutrition, and stress reduction. The importance of healthy habits and examples of how to implement them will be discussed.
- Sex in the City: Educates audience members on the patterns of sexual behavior exhibited by college students, the health risks involved with sexual activity, and how to protect oneself from infection or pregnancy.
